Arby's is a brand of Inspire Brands, the Atlanta-based private restaurant group backed by Roark Capital that also owns Dunkin', Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In and Jimmy John's. Neither Arby's nor Inspire Brands has any presence in Israel: outside the United States, Arby's operates in Canada, Costa Rica, Egypt, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Turkey, having entered the Middle East through franchise partners in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain from 2022, and Israel appears on none of those lists. No donation, in-kind aid, statement, investment, contract, sponsorship or partnership supporting Israel has been documented for Arby's, for Arby's Restaurant Group or for Inspire Brands, before or since October 2023, and neither the corporate foundation nor the company political action committee shows Israel-related money. Arby's has occasionally been named in regional consumer boycotts of American fast-food chains — most visibly in the December 2017 wave that followed the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital — but those campaigns targeted the chains as American brands and carried no allegation of a payment to Israel; the BDS movement does not list Arby's as a boycott target. Corporate-history note for anyone searching older records: Arby's was owned by Triarc Companies and then by Wendy's/Arby's Group before Roark Capital bought a majority stake in 2011 and built Inspire Brands around it in 2018, so filings from those years cover Wendy's as well and nothing in them can be attributed to Arby's alone.
