Baskin-Robbins does not operate in Israel and has no documented donation, sponsorship, statement or programme supporting it. The chain's own international market page lists its markets region by region — in the Middle East and Africa: Bahrain, Egypt, India, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates — and Israel appears nowhere on it; encyclopaedic country lists of its 7,800-plus shops likewise omit Israel, and Israeli press has noted that Baskin-Robbins never opened a chain in the country, unlike sister brand Dunkin', whose locally run Israeli franchise operated from 1996 to 2001 and closed under debt after the Second Intifada. A viral claim states that "Baskin-Robbins has 23 franchise locations in Israel as of 2024, according to parent company Inspire Brands' global directory." That claim is fiction: it originates on search-engine-optimised content-farm pages, no such entry exists in the company's own store directory, and the directory it cites does not list Israel at all. Baskin-Robbins has been owned since December 2020 by Inspire Brands, the private US restaurant group backed by Roark Capital, which acquired Dunkin' Brands. The separate online framing of Baskin-Robbins as an "Israeli brand" rests on the Jewish-American heritage of its founders, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins — personal background, not a corporate tie to Israel. Neither Baskin-Robbins nor Inspire Brands is named on the BDS movement's official targeted-boycott list.
