British Airways' Israel record through the war is operational and cautious: no corporate donations to Israeli causes were found. The airline has cycled through suspension and resumption repeatedly, always framing each pause as a crew- and passenger-safety decision, not a political position, and consistently slower to return than Lufthansa or Air France. After suspending the Heathrow–Tel Aviv route on 11 October 2023, it returned on 1 April 2024 (reduced narrowbody service via a Larnaca crew stop), paused again on 25 August 2024 as the Israel–Hezbollah conflict escalated (extended to the end of March 2025), and came back to full twice-daily service by 20 April 2025. A Houthi missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport's perimeter on 4 May 2025 triggered another suspension that was repeatedly extended through the 12-day Israel–Iran war of June 2025, until BA resumed daily flights around 24–27 October 2025 following a Gaza ceasefire. A fresh escalation with Iran in early 2026 (the airline said in mid-March 2026 that the new war had entered its third week) triggered another suspension of the route, extended in stages — to 1 August, then to 24–25 October 2026 — and as of this check British Airways has still not returned to Tel Aviv; it plans to resume on 25 October 2026 with a single daily flight, down from its pre-pause double-daily schedule.
