Jaguar Land Rover is a British carmaker owned by India's Tata Motors. It has no manufacturing or sales subsidiary in Israel: its vehicles reach the market through independent Israeli importers — Land Rover through Hamizrach (Eastern Automobile Marketing), owned by the Eini family, and Jaguar through Mayer's Cars and Trucks, with the two importers agreeing to merge their Israeli operations from 2016 (Hamizrach went on to acquire Mayer's Cars and Trucks outright in October 2022). The advocacy research group Who Profits reports that armoured Land Rovers ('David' vehicles, built on a Land Rover Defender 110 chassis) are used by the Israeli military, supplied through that Israeli distributor and armoured by MDT Armor, the US subsidiary of Israeli company Shladot. That reporting is independently corroborated, in more detail and with better sourcing: MDT Armor has held a series of US Department of Defense contracts, funded under the US Foreign Military Sales programme, to build David vehicles for the Israeli military — about $10 million (2021, ~65-70 vehicles), $21.9-22 million (2023) and $15.4 million (2025) — with the Israeli military reported to operate 370 David vehicles. This is a transaction between the US government and MDT Armor/Shladot, not a sale or donation by Jaguar Land Rover, whose only role is that an armoured vehicle maker uses a Land Rover chassis; no contract, payment or agreement between JLR and any Israeli or US defense body is documented. JLR's own documented Israeli ties are the InMotion Ventures commitment to the Tel Aviv fund Maniv Mobility (2017) and the Open Innovation programme run with Tata Consultancy Services in Tel Aviv (from 2023). No JLR corporate donation to Israeli government bodies, the military or Israel-linked charities is documented.

InMotion Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Jaguar Land Rover, was one of five strategic investors in Maniv Mobility's $40 million Tel Aviv fund, alongside the French parts supplier Valeo and the Israeli crowdfunding platform OurCrowd; the fund backs autonomous-driving, connected-car and vehicle-data start-ups. The $40 million is the fund's total; JLR's individual commitment was not disclosed. Marking the first anniversary of its Open Innovation programme, JLR announced that it was expanding the programme into Israel and Silicon Valley, working with Tata Consultancy Services' Co-Innovation Network (TCS COIN) in Tel Aviv — headed there by Ben Gilad — to identify Israeli technologies for scaling into JLR products. JLR executive director of strategy and sustainability François Dossa said: "Israel opens the door to another powerhouse of global innovation, with disruptive start-ups and an economy dominated by industrial high-tech." No investment figure was disclosed.
