Michelin tires are widely sold in Israel, but through Kogol Unitrade, an independent Israeli company that describes itself as the official importer and distributor of Michelin-group brands (Michelin, BFGoodrich, Kleber and others) in Israel for over a decade. Commercial availability via an independent importer is a business relationship of the local distributor, not corporate support by Michelin. Unlike several other automotive multinationals, Michelin has no documented Israeli R&D center, acquisition, startup investment or donation on record.
