No recorded donations, statements or documented support actions for Israel were found for Société Générale in this research pass. The French bank does not operate a licensed branch in Israel — Israel's own disclosures to the SEC list only four foreign banks among the country's sixteen banking corporations at the end of 2024, and Société Générale is not among them. It also does not appear in the underwriting syndicate of any State of Israel bond registered with the SEC: every 424B prospectus supplement Israel filed between 2009 and January 2026, including the wartime dollar benchmarks of March 2024, February 2025 and January 2026, was read directly and Société Générale is named in none of them. Campaign reports by Don't Buy Into Occupation, BankTrack and the Belgian coalition CNCD do list Société Générale among European financiers of companies said to profit from the occupation, on the basis of aggregate lending and shareholding data compiled by the research firm Profundo. Those are advocacy publications, and this project does not publish a claim on an advocacy source alone; the underlying loans could not be matched to a specific, dated, verifiable transaction with an Israeli counterparty. The honest answer is therefore that we looked and found nothing publishable — not that nothing exists. Our records are a floor, not a ceiling.

  Searched French, Israeli and financial press for Société Générale donations, humanitarian giving, solidarity statements, Israeli branch or representative office, Israeli tech investments and post-October-7 actions. Nothing verifiable was found; the only recurring hits were NGO financing reports and generic corporate pages.
• Nonprofit tax filings (Form 990) — 2026-07-30
  Société Générale is a French bank with no US private foundation filing IRS Form 990; its philanthropy runs through French structures outside the US disclosure system, so ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer cannot show Israel-linked grantmaking either way. No US grants to Israel-linked charities were identified.
• SEC filings — 2026-07-30
  Société Générale is not an SEC annual-report filer, so the usual 20-F/10-K route does not apply to this European issuer. Instead, EDGAR full-text search was run for "Societe Generale" inside the filings of Israeli issuers and of the State of Israel: no Israel bond prospectus names it, and the single hit inside Teva Pharmaceutical's filings is boilerplate listing Société Générale as a London reference bank for interest-rate quotations, which is not evidence of support.
