Does Cadence support Israel?

Cadence acquired Verisity Ltd. in an all-cash deal ($12 per share, approximately $315 million), announced January 12, 2005 and completed on April 11, 2005. Verisity, founded in Israel in 1995, kept its principal executive offices in Mountain View but its principal R&D offices in Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel, which became part of Cadence's Israeli operations.

Cadence completed its acquisition of Rocketick Technologies, an Israeli pioneer of multicore parallel chip-simulation technology, on April 28, 2016 (announced April 11, 2016). Cadence's own press releases state terms were not disclosed; unofficial press estimates of the price vary — Israeli tech outlets reported around $40 million, while at least one industry-press estimate put it near $50 million. Rocketick's roughly 25 Israel-based employees joined Cadence's Israel R&D operations.

Cadence operates R&D and sales centers in Israel — in Petah Tikva (Kiryat Arieh) and Haifa — employing over 300 people as of 2021, developing EDA software for chip design and verification. Development activity is led from Israel by corporate VP Ziyad Hanna, and the company continues to recruit at its Israeli sites.
