An independent, Gucci-specific search — distinct from the Kering corporate pass — found no documented Gucci donation, statement, or investment tied to Israel. Gucci's Tel Aviv boutique, at 34 He Beiyar Street, Kikar Hamedina — listed as 'Gucci Tel Aviv' on Gucci's own official store locator — is run by Enigma, a local multi-brand luxury retailer that describes itself as Gucci's 'official and exclusive importer' in Israel; this is ordinary distributor/franchise retail, not a Kering-run subsidiary or a documented act of support. Gucci Changemakers, the brand's own CSR program (launched 2019), funds diversity, education and arts-and-culture grants and scholarships only in North America and, since 2023, the UK (London College of Fashion) — its published grant geography has no Israel component. A widely cited boycott-directory entry for 'Gucci Fragrance' is in fact about Coty Inc., the separate company that manufactures and sells Gucci-branded perfume under license, and its parent JAB Holding's philanthropy (Alfred Landecker Foundation grants to Hillel International and Hebrew University of Jerusalem) — that is Coty/JAB's action, not Gucci's or Kering's, and should not be attributed to the fashion house. Masjid Al-Aqsa's boycott checker still marks Gucci 'boycott safe' with no verified Israel ties, Gucci is absent from the BDS movement's November 2024 priority-target guide in all three of its categories, and it does not appear on Ethical Consumer's active boycott list.
