A frequently repeated claim that Klarna acquired an Israeli company called Toplooks.ai in 2021 is wrong: Toplooks was a San Francisco Bay Area shoppable-content startup, not an Israeli one. Klarna's SEC registration statement for its 2025 listing mentions Israel only once, in a generic risk factor about global conflicts, and discloses no Israeli operations or revenue. No donation, aid, sponsorship or statement of support for Israel by the company, its founders or its employees was found, including after October 2023.
