Background

Opel is a German vehicle brand, owned by General Motors until 2017, then by PSA, and part of Stellantis N.V. since the 2021 merger. No donation, humanitarian pledge, sponsorship, investment, contract or statement of support for Israel by the Opel brand has been documented. Opel has no subsidiary, factory or technology site of its own in Israel: Opel cars are imported and sold there by the Lubinski Group, an independent Israeli importer trading since 1936, which took over the Opel franchise in March 2019 after PSA moved the brand to its Peugeot–Citroën importer; Lubinski now holds the whole Stellantis PCDO portfolio (Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel). Israeli deliveries were 1,629 Opels in 2025. Selling cars through an independent importer is a commercial arrangement, not corporate support, and Lubinski's own conduct is never attributed to Opel here. Documented corporate Israeli activity belongs to the parent: Stellantis' April 2021 memorandum of understanding with the Israel Innovation Authority, the Electreon wireless-charging pilot and its recognition of Israeli radar company Vayyar.
