Schneider Electric is a French energy-management and automation group. Its documented Israeli footprint is commercial: a wholly owned Israeli subsidiary since 1999 and a startup-investment programme announced in 2018. Schneider also publishes on its own website a customer case-study document dated September 2019 titled 'Israel Railways Electrification project', indicating involvement in that programme; the document could not be opened in this pass and no contract value is public, so it is noted here rather than listed as evidence. Reports that Schneider Electric has bought Israeli companies were checked and not confirmed — its large recent acquisitions, AVEVA and Cognite, are British and Norwegian respectively. No donation, aid or public statement of support for Israel by the company was found, including after October 2023.
