BİM is Turkey's largest hard-discount grocery chain, listed on Borsa Istanbul, and its disclosed operations are Türkiye plus subsidiaries in Morocco (BIM Stores) and Egypt (BIM Egypt) — no Israeli subsidiary, no Israeli store and no documented purchase, import or supply agreement with an Israeli company. The boycott material that circulates about BİM is of a specific and limited kind, and it should be described honestly rather than dressed up as evidence: it consists of Turkish consumer complaints, posted on public complaint platforms and social media, objecting that BİM stores kept selling international brands that appear on boycott lists, and in some cases alleging Israeli-origin products on the shelves. Those are shelf-composition grievances against a retailer's assortment decisions. We found no verified documentation — no customs record, no company statement, no mainstream reporting — that BİM bought goods from Israel, sold to Israel, donated to any Israeli body or made any statement of support. Consumer complaint pages are not a source we publish from. On the trade side, Turkey restricted exports to Israel in 54 product groups on 9 April 2024 and halted all trade with Israel on 2 May 2024, and the Directorate of Communications states that no export customs declaration to Israel has been registered since; a domestic discount grocer has no Israel trade relationship to end in any case. This is an honest no-records page: we looked at news, Turkish disclosure, US nonprofit and political-money systems and the fact-checkers, and found nothing showing BİM supporting Israel.

  Searched Turkish, English and Hebrew press for BİM donations, sponsorships, statements, Israeli suppliers, Israeli-origin stock and any Israel trade. Found no mainstream reporting of any such link. The Turkish material is consumer complaint threads and boycott-list explainers about BİM continuing to stock internationally boycotted brands; none documents a transaction with Israel. BİM's own corporate materials describe operations in Türkiye, Morocco and Egypt only.
