Crocs' presence in Israel is commercial and indirect: an independent Israeli importer — the New Cinema group of businessman Amos Horowitz, owner of the WeShoes chain — imports and sells the brand. A local Crocs store network peaked at about 60 stores in the late 2000s, was rebranded as WeShoes in 2016 during the brand's global slump, and dedicated Crocs stores returned from 2021 (Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Center, Eilat) alongside WeShoes; these stores belong to the Israeli importer, not to Crocs, Inc.
