Expedia Group's record concerns its booking platforms, not corporate giving: no record was found of donations by the company to Israeli state, military or settlement causes, no Israeli subsidiary appears in its SEC subsidiary lists, and no post-October 2023 Israel donation or statement was identified. The documented issue is that its sites list accommodations in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, for which Amnesty International named it in 2019 and the UN Human Rights Office has kept it on its settlements-business database from 2020 through the September 2025 update (Annex I, activity (e)) alongside Booking.com, Airbnb and TripAdvisor. Who Profits, an advocacy research centre, separately counted West Bank and Syrian Golan settlement listings still live on Expedia.com, Hotels.com and trivago as of 2024, though it documents no underlying methodology for those counts. The BDS movement classifies Expedia as a pressure target rather than a consumer-boycott priority.
