Four Seasons operates no hotel in Israel today. The property sometimes described online as a "Four Seasons Netanya" or "Four Seasons Herzliya" is not one: the Seasons Hotel Netanya is an unrelated Israeli hotel whose name has caused repeated confusion, and Four Seasons' only Israeli project is the Tel Aviv-Jaffa development that Israeli planning authorities approved in outline in 2021 and that had not opened as of this pass. Four Seasons is also private and unusually hard to check: it has been taken fully off the public markets, and as of January 2022 Bill Gates' Cascade Investment held 71.25% and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's Kingdom Holding 23.75%, after Kingdom sold a 23.75% block to Cascade for $2.21 billion. That ownership is worth stating plainly because it is often invoked in both directions online: a Saudi-linked minority holder and an American majority holder tell you nothing about the company's conduct toward Israel, and no donation, evacuee-housing action or corporate statement by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts was found in this pass. With no hotel on the ground, the company had no Israeli operation through which to act during the 2023-25 war.
