GoPro is a California action-camera maker with no offices, engineering sites or subsidiaries in Israel. Contrary to a common assumption, GoPro has never acquired an Israeli company: its disclosed acquisitions — including Stupeflix and Vemory (France), ReelSteady (United States) and Forcite Helmet Systems (Australia) — are elsewhere. GoPro cameras reach Israeli buyers through Ronlight, an independent Israeli company that is GoPro's official local importer, alongside GoPro's own regional online storefront. Distribution of consumer cameras through a local importer is ordinary commerce and is not support for a government or a cause; likewise, footage filmed on GoPro cameras by soldiers, journalists or anyone else is the act of the user, not of the manufacturer. No donation, aid, investment or political statement by GoPro concerning Israel was found.
