Does Honeywell International Inc. support Israel?

Honeywell, through the International Turbine Engine Company (ITEC) joint venture, signed a contract worth about $735 million to supply F124-GA-200 turbofan engines for the Israeli Air Force's fleet of 30 Alenia Aermacchi M-346 'Lavi' advanced jet trainers, in an agreement with the Israel Ministry of Defense and TOR (an Elbit Systems–Israel Aerospace Industries joint venture). Honeywell's own aerospace unit later showcased the Israeli Air Force M-346 program as a customer success story.

Honeywell acquired Nextnine, a Petah Tikva-based industrial cybersecurity company whose ICS Shield technology protected more than 6,200 industrial sites, for an undisclosed sum reported at $35–40 million (deal announced June 12, 2017, completed August 1, 2017). Israeli press noted it was Honeywell's first acquisition in Israel, and Nextnine became the base of Honeywell's local activities and R&D center.

Honeywell Aerospace signed a teaming agreement with Israel's state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries (first announced July 2017, formalized June 15, 2018) to jointly develop and market an anti-jam navigation solution combining IAI's ADA GPS anti-jamming system with Honeywell's Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System for military applications. Earlier, between 2007 and 2011, Honeywell supplied cockpit avionics in an IAI-led upgrade of the Israeli Air Force's Boeing 707 tanker fleet.

Honeywell agreed to acquire SCADAfence, a Tel Aviv-headquartered operational technology and IoT cybersecurity company founded in 2014, for an undisclosed sum reported in the tens of millions of dollars. Honeywell said the deal would expand its Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Tel Aviv, and SCADAfence's products were integrated into the Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ suite — deepening Honeywell's R&D operations in Israel that began with the Nextnine acquisition.
