Does Honeywell support Israel?

Honeywell, through the International Turbine Engine Company (ITEC) joint venture, signed a contract worth about $735 million to supply F124-GA-200 turbofan engines for the Israeli Air Force's fleet of 30 Alenia Aermacchi M-346 'Lavi' advanced jet trainers, in an agreement with the Israel Ministry of Defense and TOR (an Elbit Systems–Israel Aerospace Industries joint venture). Honeywell's own aerospace unit later showcased the Israeli Air Force M-346 program as a customer success story.

Honeywell acquired Nextnine, a Petah Tikva-based industrial cybersecurity company whose ICS Shield technology protected more than 6,200 industrial sites, for an undisclosed sum reported at $35–40 million (deal announced June 12, 2017, completed August 1, 2017). Israeli press noted it was Honeywell's first acquisition in Israel, and Nextnine became the base of Honeywell's local activities and R&D center.

Honeywell Aerospace signed a teaming agreement with Israel's state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries (first announced July 2017, formalized June 15, 2018) to jointly develop and market an anti-jam navigation solution combining IAI's ADA GPS anti-jamming system with Honeywell's Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System for military applications. Earlier, between 2007 and 2011, Honeywell supplied cockpit avionics in an IAI-led upgrade of the Israeli Air Force's Boeing 707 tanker fleet.

Honeywell agreed to acquire SCADAfence, a Tel Aviv-headquartered operational technology and IoT cybersecurity company founded in 2014, for an undisclosed sum reported in the tens of millions of dollars. Honeywell said the deal would expand its Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Tel Aviv, and SCADAfence's products were integrated into the Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ suite — deepening Honeywell's R&D operations in Israel that began with the Nextnine acquisition.

Between October 2023 and September 2025, the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA Aviation, Ogden, Utah) placed four Foreign Military Sales purchase orders with Honeywell International for F-15 spare parts. Three named Israel as the sole buying country — a containment ring ($40,256, October 2023), an antifriction housing ($871,250, December 2024) and a gearbox accessory drive ($1,510,675, September 2025), together $2,422,181 — and a fourth named Israel jointly with Saudi Arabia for wheel landing gear ($281,868, October 2024) with no country-by-country breakdown disclosed, so that amount is excluded from the Israel total above. In each case Honeywell is the manufacturer selling to the U.S. government, which supplies the parts to Israel under FMS; this is a federal contract, not a donation.

In 2015 the U.S. Air Force (AFSC PZAAB) placed three Foreign Military Sales delivery orders with Honeywell International under contract SPM7AX07D9000. Two named Israel as one of two buying countries alongside Saudi Arabia without disclosing the value split: 50 units of a spare part (NSN 1630012293670) of which 8 were earmarked for Israel and 42 for Saudi Arabia ($1,202,969.30 total, June 2015), and 32 F-15 heat-stack assemblies split between the two countries ($663,707.20 total, November 2015) — neither total is attributable to Israel alone, so no amount_usd is carried for them here. The third order was for Israel only: 10 F-16 drive keys worth $2,013.60 (December 2015), the figure recorded above.
