Nine days after October 7, Ituran issued a press release standing behind Israel's war footing: CEO Eyal Sheratzky said the company was 'absolutely horrified by the barbaric attacks against ordinary citizens' by Hamas, noted that among its Israeli employees 'everyone knows a family that has either had a son or daughter murdered or kidnapped by Hamas,' called Israelis 'resilient people' experienced in 'working and overcoming challenging times,' and affirmed there was no disruption to operations from its headquarters near Tel Aviv — a deliberate business-continuity signal for the Israeli economy under the government's declaration of war.
