No recorded donations, aid, investments, acquisitions or statements of support for Israel were found for MediaTek. The claim that the Taiwanese chip designer runs Israeli R&D does not hold up: MediaTek's own contact page lists its global offices — Taiwan, mainland China, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the UAE and Egypt — and Israel is not among them. Israeli customers reach MediaTek through independent local component representatives such as CIDEV Group of Hod Hasharon, which lists MediaTek among the semiconductor lines it represents; that is a third-party sales agency, not a MediaTek subsidiary. MediaTek is listed in Taipei (TWSE: 2454), is not an SEC registrant and has no US corporate foundation, so US filing and 990 databases contain nothing about it in either direction.
