TSG IT Advanced Systems traces its roots to Tekem, founded in Israel in 1969 as one of the country's first computing companies; Tadiran Systems bought Tekem in 1979, the Wolfson family bought it in 1999 and folded it into Nes Technologies as a business unit renamed TSG, and in 2016 Formula Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) — Israel's fully state-owned aerospace and defence manufacturer — jointly bought TSG, forming the joint venture the company is today (TSG's own "About" page gives this history). Formula started 2023 holding 50.0% of TSG; TSG's IPO on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange — completed August 1, 2024 per Formula's 20-F (TSG's own investor-relations page dates it July 2024) — plus later option exercises and capital raises diluted Formula's direct stake to 42.71% as of December 31, 2024, 37.33% as of December 31, 2025 and 32.87% as of March 31, 2026, the most recent figure in Formula's FY2025 20-F. Formula's Group CEO chairs TSG's board, and Formula's 20-F still counts TSG as an effectively controlled investee for consolidation despite the minority stake. Who Profits' company profile of Formula states IAI held a matching 42.32% of TSG as of the date it was written; Formula's own 20-F does not disclose IAI's percentage, so that figure is Who Profits' characterisation, not independently confirmed here.

TSG describes itself as the Israeli military's main C4I ("שו"ב") systems supplier for over 50 years, serving the IDF's command and tactical echelons, and lists the IDF, the Home Front Command, its C4I Branch, government agencies, law-enforcement bodies and foreign militaries among its customers. Two of Who Profits' named systems are confirmed on TSG's own site: its Intelligence product page describes "EarthSolver" as a system that extracts precise 3D coordinates from images or video within seconds from multiple sensor angles, used by ground and air forces for observation and tactical missions and for "guiding operating forces to any target" with automatic real-time calculations — Who Profits' account adds that the Israeli military began fielding EarthSolver in Infantry Corps brigades in August 2020 and that it was used in the 2014 Gaza war, a claim not on TSG's own site. TSG's municipal-services page separately states TSG is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of "Shu'al" (שוע"ל), the Home Front Command's national command-and-control system for emergency management, installed in all local authorities in Israel — matching a system Formula's 20-F also names (as "Shual") among TSG's IDF Home Front Command work. Who Profits additionally attributes to TSG's own public statements that some of its systems, including rocket- and drone-tracking, maritime imagery and home-front command-and-control tools, were used operationally for the first time during the post-October 2023 Gaza war, and that TSG contributes to the Arrow and David's Sling missile-defence programs — claims this research could not independently verify beyond Who Profits' characterisation.

Who Profits' Formula Systems profile additionally credits TSG, jointly with IAI, with winning a 2017 Ministry of Defense tender worth "hundreds of millions of NIS" to consolidate dozens of military data centers into new computing centers in the Negev, calling it the largest technology tender in Israeli military history, running 10 years with an option to extend 7 more; and describes TSG as developer of an aircraft command-and-control system it calls "Tower of Fire." Neither claim appears on TSG's own website, in Formula's SEC 20-F, or in any Israeli press this research could locate. Israeli Ministry of Defense procurement runs through channels separate from the general government procurement portal (mr.gov.il) searched for this file, and defense tenders of this kind are frequently non-public, which is consistent with — but does not confirm — Who Profits' account. This claim rests on Who Profits alone, an advocacy research centre; it cites no underlying tender documents, and this research could not independently verify it.
