YouTube is a subsidiary brand of Google (Alphabet), and no donation, investment, or statement of support for Israel by the YouTube brand itself has been documented. The Israel-related actions people cite sit at the parent level and are covered on the Alphabet page: Google.org's October 2023 commitment of more than $8 million in relief grants (split between organizations aiding civilians in Israel and in Gaza, plus employee donations with company match), the $1.2 billion Project Nimbus cloud contract that Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services signed with the Israeli government in 2021, and Google's Israeli R&D presence and skills programs. At the brand level, what is documented is content moderation, not support: after October 7, 2023 YouTube said it removed violent and terrorist content connected to the conflict, and in late 2025 it deleted channels and hundreds of videos of three Palestinian rights groups, saying it was complying with US sanctions. Moderation and legal-compliance decisions are documented controversy but are not treated here as evidence of support in either direction.
