Anadolu Efes is a Turkish brewer listed on Borsa Istanbul, controlled by Anadolu Group with AB InBev as a major shareholder, and it brews in Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Central Asia — not in Israel. What exists is an export relationship, and only that: Efes Pilsener is one of the group's export brands and Israel has appeared among the markets it reaches, with Israeli marketing trade press reporting that Interscan was appointed to market Efes Pilsener in Israel and Israeli beer retailers listing Efes lines for sale.
