Costa Coffee has no recorded donations or support for Israel, and no presence in Israel at all: the British coffee chain's own published operating footprint of countries does not include Israel, and research dossiers found no evidence of Costa-branded cafés, Costa Express machines or Costa product distribution there. Costa appears on boycott lists solely because of its parent: The Coca-Cola Company acquired Costa from Whitbread in January 2019 for about $4.9 billion (announced August 2018). Coca-Cola's own Israel record belongs on the parent's page — and even there, 'Coca-Cola Israel' is the Central Bottling Company, an independent Israeli franchisee whose brand portfolio does not include Costa products, and whose Atarot facility is the franchisee's, not Costa's or Coca-Cola's. A circulating claim that some 130 Costa cafés have operated in Israel since 1999 is unsupported and contradicted by Costa's own country list. No Costa Coffee donation, investment, statement or operation concerning Israel was found.
