No support for Israel by Lush is documented, and the company's public record points the other way. Lush is a privately held British cosmetics maker based in Poole, Dorset, with roughly 850–900 shops worldwide. It has no shops in Israel and no Israeli franchise or distributor: Israeli shoppers buy Lush products through parallel importers and resellers, not through a Lush-operated market. On 3 September 2025 Lush closed all of its UK shops, its factories and its website for a day, and its shops in the Republic of Ireland the following day, with window posters reading 'Stop starving Gaza — we are closed in solidarity'; the company said shutting shops 'is not an easy decision' and used the closure to press the UK government to end arms sales to Israel and act to stop the war. Lush also relaunched its Watermelon Slice soap — which it describes as its most successful single-issue fundraising product — with proceeds going to medical and mental-health services for children and adults in Gaza and the West Bank, including prosthetic care for those wounded in the war. We record this plainly and without editorialising: this site documents corporate support for Israel, and where a company's documented record is the opposite, the honest answer is to say so and cite it.
