Olay has been a Procter & Gamble brand since P&G bought Richardson-Vicks in 1985. The honest answer for Israel is that Olay is a recent and limited arrival: unlike sister brands such as Gillette, Pampers or Pantene, it had no Israeli presence at all until P&G launched it through Super-Pharm at the end of January 2020, it has no Hebrew brand site of its own, and no Olay-branded donation, sponsorship, in-kind aid or statement concerning Israel was found at any date. Everything Israel-related that boycott posts attach to Olay belongs to the parent: P&G's Israeli subsidiary P&G Israel M.D.O. Ltd. and its "Israel House of Innovation" open-innovation hub, opened in 2007 with a bilateral agreement with Israel's Office of the Chief Scientist. P&G issued no corporate statement on the war after October 7, 2023 — its CFO called the attack and the war that followed a "human tragedy."
