Milka is a chocolate brand of Mondelez International, and no donation, in-kind aid, sponsorship, investment or statement of support for Israel, its government or its military has been documented for the Milka brand. Its documented Israel record is commercial and runs through a third party: Milka is imported and distributed in Israel by Diplomat Group, an independent Israeli company, and the brand's Israeli sales grew sharply in 2022 when local market leader Elite (Strauss) halted chocolate production after salmonella contamination. Milka is not manufactured in Israel and Mondelez has no Milka plant there. Parent-level Israel activity documented on the Mondelez page is also commercial: the 2019 collaboration with The Kitchen FoodTech incubator owned by Israel's Strauss Group, and seed and follow-on investments in the Israeli startup Torr FoodTech in 2020 and 2022.
