Mountain Dew is a PepsiCo brand, and no donation, statement, sponsorship or campaign concerning Israel has been documented for the Mountain Dew brand. It is also not part of PepsiCo's licensed Israeli portfolio: the August 1991 licence PepsiCo granted to the Israeli company Tempo covered Pepsi, 7Up and Mirinda, and Tempo Beverages Ltd.'s 2021 periodic report to the Israel Securities Authority still names those three as the PepsiCo brands it holds under exclusive distribution agreements. Mountain Dew is absent from that list. Cans and bottles do turn up on Israeli shelves — Super-Pharm's online store, for example, labels its Mountain Dew Citrus listing a parallel import (יבוא מקביל), and specialty importers of American confectionery stock it — but a parallel import is the importer's commercial decision, not an act by PepsiCo or by the Mountain Dew brand, and it does not make the brand a licensed Israeli operation. PepsiCo's FY2020 subsidiaries exhibit lists five Israeli entities, all SodaStream-related, and no bottler. Parent-level actions belong to PepsiCo on its own page: the PepsiCo Foundation's $1 million October 2023 pledge to humanitarian organizations serving both Israel and Gaza with 2-to-1 employee matching, the $3.2 billion SodaStream acquisition in 2018, and Frito-Lay's half share of the Strauss Frito Lay snack joint venture in Sderot. Mountain Dew was created in Tennessee in the 1940s and joined PepsiCo in 1964. The BDS movement's official target list names PepsiCo-owned SodaStream, not Mountain Dew.
