Orbit and Extra are chewing-gum brands of Mars Wrigley, part of privately held Mars, Incorporated, and no donation, sponsorship or statement of support for Israel has been documented for these brands themselves. What is documented is commercial and sits at the parent level: Mars signed a research-and-development partnership with Israeli venture firm Jerusalem Venture Partners in May 2019 to scout Israeli foodtech, and Mars runs its own Israeli sales unit that markets Orbit locally (above). Mars states it makes no contributions to candidates, parties or political committees and sponsors no PAC, and it is not on the BDS movement's official targeted-boycott list. Viral posts claiming 'Mars Israel donated snacks to IDF soldiers in 2021' circulate only on commercial boycott-content sites with no primary source, no Israeli or international press report and no company statement behind them — we treat that claim as unverified.
