A widely repeated claim holds that Pampers diapers sold in Israel are made by Kimberly-Clark. That is wrong, and the correction matters for attribution: Pampers belongs to Procter & Gamble, while Israel's locally manufactured diapers — Huggies and Titulim — belong to Kimberly-Clark Israel (the former Hogla-Kimberly), which runs plants in Afula, Hadera and Nahariya and long held roughly 70% of the Israeli diaper market. Pampers is P&G's competing, imported brand there, marketed by P&G Israel and distributed by Diplomat. Everything else documented about Israel at this level is the parent's, not the brand's: P&G operates the subsidiary P&G Israel M.D.O. Ltd. and, since 2007, the 'Israel House of Innovation' open-innovation hub built with Israel's Office of the Chief Scientist. P&G issued no corporate statement on the war after October 7, 2023 (its CFO called the attack and ensuing war a 'human tragedy'), and no donation by the Pampers brand to Israeli military, government or relief causes is documented. Where brand-level Israeli philanthropy by P&G does exist it belongs to a sister brand — Pantene's long partnership with the Israeli children's-cancer charity Zichron Menachem, including a $100,000 grant in 2018 for a local wig workshop — and must not be attributed to Pampers. Neither P&G nor Pampers appears on the BDS movement's official boycott target lists; posts naming Pampers rest on the parent's Israeli operations, not on a verified donation.
