No records of Red Bull GmbH donations, investments, sponsorships or statements supporting Israel were found. Red Bull's presence in Israel has been ordinary retail distribution: the importer Tymko introduced the drink in 1999, and a minimal local unit ("Red Bull Israel") distributes it today with roughly 7.7% of the energy-drink market. In 2013 Red Bull actually terminated its marketing activity in Israel and cut its local unit to two employees after its market share collapsed from about 80% to 6% — a business decision covered by Israeli media at the time.
