Snickers is a chocolate bar brand of privately held Mars, Incorporated, and no donation, sponsorship or statement of support for Israel has been documented for the Snickers brand itself. What is documented is commercial and sits at the parent level: Mars signed a research-and-development partnership with Israeli venture firm Jerusalem Venture Partners in May 2019 to scout Israeli foodtech, detailed on the Mars page; Mars runs its own Israeli sales unit that markets Snickers locally, and Snickers ice cream is distributed in Israel by the independent Israeli company Feldman's Ice Cream under an exclusive agreement with Mars reported in March 2019 (both above). Mars states it makes no contributions to candidates, parties or political committees and sponsors no PAC, and it is not on the BDS movement's official targeted-boycott list. Viral posts claiming 'Mars Israel donated snacks to IDF soldiers in 2021' circulate only on commercial boycott-content sites with no primary source, no Israeli or international press report, and no company statement behind them — we treat that claim as unverified. When the Arabic outlet Al Mashhad put the question directly on 28 November 2023 — asking whether Galaxy chocolate, a sibling Mars brand, supports Israel — it reported no act at all: only that some activists infer support from Mars being an American company, founded in Tacoma, Washington in 1911, and therefore call for boycotting American products. Separately, Mars completed its $35.9 billion acquisition of Kellanova on 11 December 2025, which is why Pringles is now a Mars brand; that ownership change concerns the Pringles page and adds nothing to the Snickers record.
