Tostitos is a tortilla-chip and dip brand of Frito-Lay, PepsiCo's snacks division, sold mainly in the United States, Canada and Mexico. No donation, in-kind gift, sponsorship, investment or statement of support for Israel, its government or its military has been documented for the Tostitos brand, and no Israeli production, licensing or retail distribution of Tostitos was found either. The exclusive Israeli licence for Frito-Lay salty, spicy and extruded snacks is held by Strauss Frito Lay Ltd., the 50/50 joint venture between PepsiCo's Frito-Lay and Israel's Strauss Group created in 1999 and listed by PepsiCo as "Strauss Frito Lay Ltd. — Israel" in the subsidiaries exhibit of its 10-K; the Israeli range that venture makes at its Sderot plant runs under Doritos, Cheetos and the local Tapuchips name, and Tostitos does not appear in it. Israeli-facing listings for Tostitos found in searches were US retail and marketplace pages, not Israeli distribution. Parent-level items sit on the PepsiCo page: the PepsiCo Foundation's $1 million October 2023 pledge to humanitarian organizations serving Israel and Gaza with 2-to-1 employee matching, and the $3.2 billion acquisition of Israel's SodaStream in 2018. The BDS movement's official target list names PepsiCo-owned SodaStream, not Tostitos.
