Tropicana is no longer a PepsiCo-controlled brand, and getting the attribution right matters here. PepsiCo bought Tropicana in 1998 for $3.3 billion, but on 3 August 2021 it announced an agreement to sell Tropicana, Naked and other juice brands in North America and Europe to the private-equity firm PAI Partners; the deal created Tropicana Brands Group, in which PAI Partners holds 61% and PepsiCo retains a 39% minority stake. Since then the acting company behind the brand is Tropicana Brands Group, not PepsiCo, and PepsiCo's own quarterly filing describes the transaction as a sale. No donation, statement, sponsorship or campaign concerning Israel has been documented for the Tropicana brand, for Tropicana Brands Group, or for PAI Partners in relation to the brand. Tropicana also has no Israeli production or licensed bottling arrangement: it is absent from the exclusive PepsiCo brand list in Tempo Beverages' filings — the Israeli licence covers Pepsi, 7Up and Mirinda — and the Tropicana cartons and bottles that appear on Israeli shelves are US-made packs brought in by specialty and online importers, which is the importers' commercial decision rather than an act by the brand. PepsiCo's parent-level Israel record, including the PepsiCo Foundation's $1 million October 2023 pledge to humanitarian organizations serving both Israel and Gaza and the 2018 SodaStream acquisition, sits on the PepsiCo page and must not be transferred to a brand PepsiCo no longer controls. Tropicana was founded in Bradenton, Florida, in 1947. The BDS movement's official target list does not name Tropicana.

Israeli mentions are retail listings for imported US packs; no Israeli production or licensed distribution was found.

  Tropicana has no charitable foundation of its own, and Tropicana Brands Group files no US Form 990 as a private operating company. Historic PepsiCo giving ran through the PepsiCo Foundation Inc. (EIN 13-6163174, Purchase, NY), but since the 2021 sale no grant made there can be attributed to Tropicana.
