No donation, sponsorship, foundation grant or supportive statement toward Israel or the Israeli government by Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is on record, and no Israeli subsidiary, Israeli distributor agreement or Israeli defence contract of Vestel is documented. Vestel is Turkey's largest consumer-electronics manufacturer, based at Vestel City in Manisa, and exports the great majority of its output — much of it built for other companies' brands — mainly to Europe. Two things need to be separated. First, Vestel's own trade: Turkey restricted exports to Israel in 54 product groups on 9 April 2024 and then halted all exports and imports with Israel on 2 May 2024; the Directorate of Communications states that no export customs declaration to Israel has been registered since. We found no verified record of Vestel-branded goods or Vestel-built sets reaching the Israeli market before or after that date. Second — and this is what the Turkish boycott arguments are really about — Vestel's controlling shareholder. Zorlu Holding, which holds the majority of Vestel Elektronik, had an energy business in Israel: Zorlu Enerji held a 25% stake in the Dorad Energy power station near Ashkelon, operating since 2011, and BDS Türkiye called for a boycott of Zorlu Holding in November 2023 over it. Zorlu then exited: it sold a 10% Dorad stake to the Israeli Phoenix Group for 282.9 million shekels (about $84.5 million) and agreed to transfer the remaining 15% to existing partners Ellomay Luzon Energy Infrastructures and Edelcom, completing its exit from the Israeli plant in July 2025. That was Zorlu Enerji's investment and Zorlu Enerji's exit — a sister company under the same parent, not Vestel Elektronik, which is an electronics manufacturer with no stake in Dorad. Read precisely, the record shows a parent group that once invested in Israeli power generation and has since sold out of it, and no Israel activity by Vestel itself.

The only Israel-facing item at group level is Zorlu Enerji's 25% stake in the Dorad Energy plant near Ashkelon, in production since 2011, sold off in stages and fully exited by July 2025. Israeli reporting on the products that vanished from Israeli shelves after Turkey's May 2024 trade halt names Turkish white goods and food brands but does not name Vestel.

  Not an SEC registrant — Vestel Elektronik is listed on Borsa Istanbul (VESTL), so the US filing system does not apply and there is no EDGAR full-text 'israel' hit list to review.
