Wiz is the flagship case of an Israeli-built company inside an American corporate shell. Four Israelis who had served in Unit 8200 and then built and sold Adallom to Microsoft started it in January 2020; the entity is US-incorporated with a New York headquarters, but the engineering is overwhelmingly in Tel Aviv — 500 of about 2,700 employees were in Israel when the Google deal closed, and Israeli coverage consistently treats the company as Israeli.
