Xbox is Microsoft Corporation's gaming brand, and no donation, grant, contract, sponsorship, or statement of support for Israel has been documented in the Xbox brand's own name — Xbox does not hold government contracts and did not appear in any of the leaked or reported Israeli military procurement records. This is Xbox's parent Microsoft, whose documented actions are recorded on the Microsoft page: in October 2023 Microsoft turned campus facilities in Israel into refuge space for evacuees, held appreciation events for military reservists, and displayed solidarity symbols for hostages. Separately, Microsoft sells Azure cloud and AI services to Israeli government and military customers; in August 2025 The Guardian reported that Unit 8200 stored intercepted Palestinian phone calls on Azure, in September 2025 Microsoft said it had terminated that unit's access to some cloud and AI services for breaching its terms of service, and it later removed the general manager of its Israeli subsidiary and other managers after an internal review. Xbox nevertheless became the focal point of pressure campaigns precisely because it is consumer-facing: in April 2025 the BDS movement made Microsoft a priority target and called for cancelling Xbox Game Pass and boycotting Microsoft Gaming titles, and a separate 'No Games For Genocide' campaign launched by games journalists and developers asks the industry to disengage from Microsoft. Those are calls to boycott Xbox over the parent's Azure business — they are not evidence that Xbox itself gave money to or contracted with Israel.
