PDD Holdings — the Chinese-founded company behind Pinduoduo and the international marketplace Temu — has no recorded donations, investments, statements, or corporate presence supporting Israel. Temu began serving Israeli shoppers in 2023 and grew explosively: Israeli visits to the site jumped from roughly 275,000 in September 2023 to about 4.76 million in January 2024, overtaking Shein in monthly orders, though AliExpress remained the most-visited foreign shopping site. This is ordinary cross-border e-commerce run from China: PDD has no known Israeli office or subsidiary and has said nothing publicly about the war. Viral posts claim both that Temu "funds Israel" and, in the other direction, that it is pro-Palestinian; neither claim is supported by any documented corporate action, and the company has issued no statement either way.
