Background
Reebok is a brand, not an independent company: Adidas sold it to US brand-management firm Authentic Brands Group (ABG) in a deal completed in March 2022, and ABG licenses it to regional operating partners. In Israel that partner is the MGS Group, which ABG's closing announcement described as 'Reebok's core operating partner in Israel for two decades' and re-signed at the acquisition — so day-to-day Israeli retail and distribution is run by the Israeli licensee, while the February 2025 Israel Football Association kit sponsorship engages the Reebok brand itself. Claims that Israel's Delta Galil holds the Reebok license there circulate in some lists but were not corroborated: the documented Israeli partner is MGS. The IFA deal drew BDS-side criticism (the IFA includes clubs based in West Bank settlements) and a Business & Human Rights Resource Centre inquiry that Reebok and ABG declined to answer; the reported September 2025 logo-removal episode ended with the logo retained and Reebok denying the reports.
