What actually happened after October 7, 2023 mostly ran the other way: Israeli customers called to boycott Shein after noticing it sold Palestinian flags while searches for an Israeli flag came up empty, and Israeli media then reported that Shein told local influencers their campaigns were "postponed" and pulled back free-shipping promotions to Israel — prompting accusations inside Israel that the company was anti-Israel.
