Background

Oral-B came to Procter & Gamble with the 2005 Gillette acquisition; before that it was a Gillette brand. What is documented at the brand level in Israel is commercial only — a P&G-run Israeli site and service line, Hebrew brand channels, retail distribution, no local factory. Everything else that boycott posts attach to Oral-B belongs to the parent and must be attributed there: P&G's Israeli subsidiary P&G Israel M.D.O. Ltd. and the "Israel House of Innovation" open-innovation hub, opened in 2007 alongside a bilateral agreement with Israel's Office of the Chief Scientist that gives Israeli startups collaborating with P&G favourable access to government funding. P&G made no corporate statement on the war after October 7, 2023 — its CFO called the attack and the war that followed a "human tragedy" — and this pass found no donation, in-kind product drive, sponsorship or political contribution by the Oral-B brand to Israeli military, government or relief causes. P&G's one documented brand-level Israeli philanthropy belongs to a sister brand, Pantene (its partnership with the children's-cancer charity Zichron Menachem, including a $100,000 grant in 2018), and is not Oral-B's. Neither Oral-B nor P&G appears on the BDS movement's official boycott target lists; third-party boycott directories list Oral-B solely as a P&G brand.

Operations in Israel2026Israeli market — Procter & Gamble Israel M.D.O. Ltd.
Oral-B, a Procter & Gamble brand since P&G's 2005 purchase of Gillette (which owned Oral-B), is marketed as a local brand in Israel. P&G runs an Israeli Oral-B site and warranty-service portal at oralb.co.il / service.oralb.com/il with an Israeli consumer-service line (1-800-666-775), plus Hebrew-language Oral-B Israel social and video channels, and manual and electric toothbrushes and brush heads are stocked chain-wide, including a dedicated Oral-B brand page at the Super-Pharm drugstore chain. The brand's owner P&G maintains the subsidiary P&G Israel M.D.O. Ltd., listed in its FY2025 10-K subsidiaries exhibit. Oral-B products are imported — no Oral-B manufacturing plant in Israel is documented, and this pass found no evidence that Oral-B is among the P&G brands named on Diplomat Distributors' P&G vendor page (which lists Gillette, Braun, Pampers, Tide, Ariel, Fairy, Lenor, Tampax and Fluocaril).
